What’s The Book About?

Finding Your Part in God’s Master Story helps to answer the question “What do Christians believe?” and helps Christians answer the question “What do I really believe?”

In a culture which is quickly disposing of labels and classifications, it is becoming harder to understand what it means to be a Christian. In Finding Your Part in God’s Master Story, we learn:

• Everyone has a worldview, a set of beliefs which affect their thoughts and actions;
• What we believe about God, the world, and our role in it is very important;
• But not all Christians share the same worldview.

To build a consistent, comprehensive, and Christian worldview, we can:

• Understand the larger story of which we are a part;
• Consider the setting of the story, the major characters making things happen, the goal of the story, and the obstacles and opposition between us and the goal;
• Examine our beliefs about the beginning, middle, and end of the story to see if they make a consistent whole;
• Then join God in the work he is doing in the world.
